From Adversity to Principled Leadership
Parfait Makimouna Mberi was born and raised in the Republic of the Congo. When civil war and political instability tore through his homeland, he was forced to flee, becoming a refugee in Gabon where he endured the acute trials of displacement and uncertainty.
In September 2007, Parfait immigrated to the United States with his family. He embraced the hard work of learning English, adapting to a new culture, and building an enduring foundation through persistent effort and grounded faith.
Over nearly two decades, Parfait developed hands-on leadership experience across demanding, disciplined industries. He earned supervisory responsibilities in manufacturing, earned a commercial driver's license (CDL) to operate as a professional truck driver, and went on to dedicated public service with the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice.
In 2026, he founded PMM Consulting LLC to bring this wealth of real-world resilience, active listening, and operational acumen to individuals, families, and small businesses seeking clarity in their next steps.
